Supercharge Practice with the Compete Confidence Golf Round Scorecard

When I hit the links to get in practice between tournaments, I often find myself occasionally wishing I had a mobile scorecard to make keeping track of my clubs and scores easier. This is especially true when hitting range balls at the beginning or end of practice or on casual rounds where I don't keep score.

While there are different tools, paper scorecards, and apps on the market to help you keep score of your practice rounds, I never found one that was designed to do so in an easy-to-use, stylish way.

So I designed one myself.

I'm excited to introduce the Compete Confidence Golf Round Scorecard - a scorecard specifically designed to help golfers practice with ease and confidence by keeping track of their performance over time while staying engaged with the game at hand.

The scorecard is easy to use and features a design that you actually WANT to fill out, rather than a dull, monotonous scorecard you'll dread using.

How The Compete Confidence Golf Round Scorecard Works

Each Compete Confidence Golf Round Scorecard comes with two rounds per sheet, making it easy to record up to four rounds on a single sheet.

Here's the quick guide to how you can use it to improve skills and get everything you can out of your practice rounds:

1. Enter the Pars On Each Hole

The scorecard is built for you to use on any course. Simply enter each par on every hole you play to track your comparison of actual score vs. par.

2. Write Down Each Fairway Hit and Directional

In the next box on the column, you can check whether you hit the fairway or not and in what direction you hit it. As you track this data, you can see how much improvement you're making by comparing your fairway shots to par.

3. Write Down Yards In and Club Used

Next, you can write down how far you hit each club on your approach shots, so you have a good idea of how far you're hitting each club. This is an excellent way to track your consistency and accuracy.

4. Track GIR and Direction

Next, write down whether you hit on GIR (Green In Regulation) on each hole and note whether you landed on the green from where you hit your approach.

If you missed it, simply write down the direction of your miss. This will give you a clear idea of what you need to work on the next time around.

5. Write Down 1st Putt Distance and Number of Putts

Lastly, record the distance you stood from your ball before your first putt on each hole. This is a great way to track how far you stand from your ball before putting it. Also, make sure to write down the number of putts it took you to sink each putt.

Tracking this data will help you see how many two-putts you're getting, which is a vital statistic for any golfer.

How to Score for Par-3

What if you are hitting on a par-3 and don't have the same number of stats to record? No problem!

If you hit on a par-3, simply skip the fairway stat and enter the tee box yardage in the Yards In slot. This will help you track par 3s without worrying about whether you hit the fairway or not. Then enter the GIR and direction and the number of putts as normal.

Final Scoring

Once you are finished with the round, write in the total score at the top of the scorecard. You can then take the completed card and insert all of the practice round stats in any spreadsheet software to see your progress over time.

Accuracy, Consistency, and Distance Improvement

What I love most about this scorecard is that it helps you track all three of these key statistics - accuracy, consistency, and distance improvement. By tracking your numbers over time via the stats on this scorecard, you can improve your skills in each of these areas.
