golf tips and tricks mental hurdles of golf

“There is a whole community of women back here playing golf every day, and they like to compete.”

There are two types of people in this world — those who love to play golf and those who don't. If you haven't already discovered the fun and excitement of this sport, there's no time like the present. A common misconception is that golf is a game just for rich old men in funny white pants. In reality, golf is a fun and inexpensive game for the whole family--and there's no reason why women can't play, too! The game of golf incorporates a mixture of exercise, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. It is both challenging and rewarding.

How Kareen Got Into Golf and its Transition to Working in the Golf Industry

Kareen Larson explains that she got into golf when she was 37 years old. She first went with a couple of friends to a driving range and hit a couple of balls, but none were hitting straight. That is when she got an interest in playing the game. Kareen used to work for the healthcare industry for a long time before moving to TalonsCove Golf Club. When the position of General Manager came, she realized that healthcare was not her calling and went for it.  She also wanted to increase the number of female leaders in the profession. There are only three women in the whole state with similar positions.

Koreen’s Favorite Thing About Golf

Golf is a game anyone can love. It's challenging, addictive and it brings families together for fun. The best thing about golf is playing golf. Golfing is a good sport. You need to find the hole, and you also need to get your ball in the hole without touching any other obstacles on the way. This is a very clever game that makes you think while providing hours of entertainment. Kareen explains that unlike playing basketball, golf improved her personal emotions. The teamwork in basketball brought her emotion down to normal.
