All the Details on the Garage Gym

About one year ago, we did a massive overhaul of our garage and turned it into a garage gym. This required us to look carefully through all the junk we had in the garage and get rid of 50% of it. We don't have basements in Arizona so the garage and a small shed in the backyard is our only storage areas. I can confidently say that everything that I donated or threw away has not been missed or looked for in the past year. I challenge you to go through your garage or basement and get rid of all the "stuff". If you haven't used it in over a year then ask yourself if you truly need it.

Details about the garage floor paint... from my husband:

My wife has received a number of inquires about the garage floor system that we have put into both our garages.  Obviously it's not a standard epoxy garage floor and is really not a do it yourself type of project.  Fortunately for her she is married to a true professional....  It's an aggregate floor system that requires a primer, two full broadcast coats of aggregate (sand) and up to three top coats of clear coat epoxy.  It's a bit pricey compared to just slopping a couple coats of epoxy on the floor with some paint chips thrown into it.  But the look and durability is absolutely worth it.  If you take the time and expense of installing this type of floor you will never have to deal with your garage floors again.  The system is bulletproof.
