I'd love to see what golf is all about but I don't know where to start.
My significant other plays a lot of golf, I wish I could go out and play with him!
The golf course seems intimidating. I don't know where to go and what to do!
I want to start playing golf but I don't have a group of friends that will join me.

Tori Totlis, BFore Golf Co-founder

Tori Totlis is on a mission to grow and bring light to the women's golf community. She started playing later in life and it was a total game-changer. Becoming a part of this community and striving to become a better golfer inspired her to create Compete Confidence Golf. A company that strives to support women in golf through practice programs, golf retreats, tournaments, and content creation.

Tori is a member at two golf clubs, multiple ladies leagues, and a board member of the Arizona Women's Golf Association. She plays in many local, state, and national tournaments.

Alex Andersen, Babes Golf Founder

As the founder of Babes Golf, Alex started this organization with the intent of introducing women to the game. Babes Golf has become a movement to revolutionize golf, paving the path for new golfers, and providing a fun place to connect players of all levels wishing to make friends.

Justin Klemballa, PGA, BFore Golf Co-Founder

Justin is a PGA Professional and a Director of Instruction at 2 private clubs in Arizona, Paradise Valley CC and Forest Highlands GC. Justin has also been recognized by Golf Digest as a Best in State teacher and a Best Young Teacher in America.

In 2019 Justin started a program at both of his clubs that has introduced over 300 new lady golfers to the game of golf. His passion for teaching the new golfer is very adamant when you are in his presence. His instruction is very simple and his approach is extremely positive which makes learning golf with Justin both easy and very fun!

What can I expect from this event?

This is an organized beginner golf event specifically designed for women that have just started playing golf or want to start playing.

You can expect an organized clinic format that will demonstrate the basics of full swing, chipping, and putting plus time with our top instructors to start executing some of these shots. You will have the opportunity to hit plenty of balls in a safe, learning environment.

This event will also review the rules and etiquette of the sport, to ensure that you don't have that added pressure of going to the course and thinking you are doing something wrong!

And most importantly, the BFore Golf & BabesGolf event is a space to meet new friends and join the community of female golfers.

Who is this event for?

This event is perfect for you if you just started playing golf within the past 2 years or if you are ready to start playing golf and you need a little nudge to get started!

Do I need my own golf clubs?

If you have your own golf clubs, great, bring them with you!

If you don't have your own clubs yet, no big deal. We will have plenty of loaner clubs that you can borrow during the clinic.

If you need clubs for the Mountain Shadows golf outing, there will be an extra charge at the course to rent golf clubs.

I am coming from out of town. Do you have any lodging recommendations?

The closest, most convenient hotel is the Marriott Phoenix Airport. You can also stay at the Andaz Resort in Scottsdale which is hosting our Shopping Night on March 5th. The Andaz is about a 7-10 minute drive to both Papago and Mountain Shadows.

Grabbing a room in Old Town Scottsdale or in the Biltmore area is within a 10-minute drive to the course and has plenty of restaurants and shopping to walk to.

What kind of requirements are there?

There isn't any!

If you are a female golfer that wants to start golfing or just started playing and wants to learn more - this is the event for YOU!

How good of a golfer do you have to be?

You can walk into this event NEVER have swung a golf club before and you would be in the right place.

This event is perfect for you if you want to get started with the sport or have been it in the past 2 years.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Due to the nature of this event, all sales are final and nonrefundable after February 1st, 2023.
