In mid-September I was lucky enough to get the e-mail from Beachbody Headquarters welcoming me to Shaun T's newest pilot test group for Transform:20. Words can't even explain how grateful I am to have been apart of it. Shaun T has been my go-to trainer on BOD since T25. He is motivational, inspirational, no-nonsense kind of trainer that keeps you pushing yourself to your limits.

Well... he has outdone himself with this program. Transform:20 not only changed my body - 13 pounds lost and over 11 inches shredded - but I did a complete mindset transformation and I am super grateful to now bring this program to you.

What is Transform :20™?

Transform :20 is a fast, super-intense fitness program created by Super Trainer Shaun T that will transform your body—and your mind—in just 20 minutes a day over 6 weeks. Be forewarned—it’s hard. But the results will be worth it. Transform :20 is a breakthrough total-body workout without breaks. It’s just you, Shaun T, and a Step. After 5 minutes, you’ll be out of breath, at 10 minutes you’ll be sweating, in 15 minutes you’ll be looking at the clock, and by minute 20 you’ll be done. You’ll blast your core, legs, glutes, and upper body— no weights required. There’s a different workout every day, 6 days a week, done in real time with the cast. No do-overs and no repeats.

Transform :20 is divided into three 2-week chapters: COMMIT, CLIMB, CONQUER. In each chapter, the moves evolve and get harder. Daily Transformer challenges will push you physically, and daily ShaunFirmations will help get your mind focused and keep you motivated. The Beachbody® Nutrition Guide has been tailored to Transform :20 to make sure you’re getting the nutrients and fuel you need throughout the program to help you achieve your best results. It also explains how to incorporate Portion Fix® or the 2B Mindset™ into your eating plan. Frequently Asked Questions

When do we start?

The FIRST Transform:20 Challenge Group starts prep week on Monday, January 7th with the full workout program beginning January 14th.

But that's too far away - I want to start now!!! I totally get it. I have a Shaun T hybrid calendar to get you up and going ASAP so you stay fit through the holidays and are ready to go in January!

Where does the Accountability/Challenge Group take place?

We have a CLOSED Facebook Page that all our Challengers are invited to. That page will serve as our central communication source.

What if I don't have a Facebook account?

I do have an option for people that don't have a Facebook account to receive our daily communications via e-mail, kinda like a newsletter.

The Facebook group page is the best way to interact in the group but I have found much success with people just doing the daily e-mails too.

What is the time commitment?

Transform:20 is 6 days a week for 20 minutes each workout. You ALWAYS have time for a 20 minute workout!

Where do workouts take place?

Everything is virtual, so you can practically do it anywhere! After downloading the app, you can complete your workouts wherever you have a WIFI connection. Most people do their workouts at home - all you need is a 6x6 space to complete them. I also have lots of clients that still like to go to the gym and stream their workouts on their phone.

No WIFI? There is always the option to download your workouts ahead of time so they are ready for you whenever you are!

What do I do on my rest days?

REST! Or you can choose from the many yoga, stretch or Pilates workouts Beachbody on Demand offers. I love to pick one of the 100+ Yoga routines they have on Beachbody on Demand to refresh my body on rest days

What if I'm traveling?

If the Challenge Group uses weights then the fee will include 2 fitness bands (not included in T20) that travel easily so you can complete the workouts in your hotel room or use the hotel room fitness facilities. Also keep in mind that EVERYTHING is virtual so as long as you have a 6x6 space and WIFI, you can complete your workout! So, don’t let travels deter you from making your goals.

But what if I am traveling and doing Transform:20? Do I have to pack my step? Believe it or not, I have traveled multiple times with my step BUT I have found that most hotel gyms have steps in their gyms. Remember there is always a non-step modification version in T20 so not having a step is no problem!

What do I need for my workouts?

You will need to buy a step - Beachbody is offering their T20 step or you can find them on Amazon or Target. All prices seem to be the same. You will need a yoga mat or fitness mat of some sort. I would also start with 3 sets of dumbbells - light, medium and heavy. BUT Transform:20's weighted exercises are OPTIONAL so if you don't have dumbbells at home - you don't need them!
