What can I expect from this tournament?
What is included in the Retreat Experience Package?
Scottsdale Welcome Package
Luxury Transportation to and from airport on Sunday & Thursday and to and from the golf course each tournament day.
Elite Golf Experience will help you pre-plan your dinner reservations for Sunday and Tuesday evening. They will also assist in helping in any other pre-planned activities that you would like to do during your stay in Scottsdale.
Are the rooms double occupancy?
What kind of requirements are there?
36 course handicap will be the maximum handicap used for the tournament.
Partners must have handicaps within 8 strokes of each other or the higher handicap player will play down to the adjusted 8 stroke difference handicap.
We will have a Cactus Flight which is for teams that want to just play golf, enjoy the experience but not stress over playing in the tournament.
All tournament participants must be at least 21 years old.
How long is the tournament and when exactly is it?
If you are flying in from out of town, I suggest flying in on Sunday the 6th in the morning leaving room for a practice round at Papago and then flying out on Thursday the 10th.
What yardage will we be playing at?
Are the prizes gross and net?
We will also have an Overall Low Gross and Overall Low Net Champion.
What if I don't have a partner? Can I sign up as a single?
How many teams are accepted into the tournament?
Is a practice round included?
Papago has an amazing restaurant and hopping bar. If you have a practice round later in the day, even if its 9-holes, plan on eating right at Papago afterwards. You should be able to get in at least 9 holes if you tee time is by 4:00pm.
When will I know if I am playing in the morning or afternoon shotgun?
How will pairings be selected?
Do I have to match outfits with my partner throughout the tournament?
I just want to play for fun. What exactly is the Cactus Flight?
You will still have a partner in this flight and each day you will be playing a scramble format.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
If cancelled on or before January 31st, 2022, you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.
Due to the nature of this event, your registration fee will be nonrefundable starting February 1st, 2022.
No refunds or exchanges will be made if the tournament is canceled or shortened due to weather or nature.
Any cancellations must be in writing and sent to the Tournament staff by email to [email protected]
What is the cancellation policy for the Retreat Experience?
If you have to cancel, you have the right to transfer your retreat experience package to a new individual. We will do everything we can to help you find a replacement.
